HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS
CHECK OR CHANGE YOUR HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS
The Western Trust have launched a new app called Connect West that allows patients to check when their appointment is or make changes to your outpatient hospital appointment. You can also check for mobile screening services near you such as Breast Screening.
Home visits
If possible please try to telephone before 10am.
A doctor may take your call or call you back as your problem may possibly be able to be dealt with by telephone advice, or arrange a hospital attendance.
Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of an illness or disability.
This will help the doctors to plan their visits and avoid unnecessary delays.
Please be aware the doctor can see approximately five patients in the surgery in the time it takes to do a home visit and it is at the doctors discretion as to whether a home visit is deemed necessary.
There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients in a clinical setting.
